In order to purchase courses, you must first enroll. You do this either by filling out the Printable Agricultural Course Form or Printable Structural Course Form, selecting classes and mailing in payment. Or you can Register Online.

Registration is free. Once Registered and logged in, you can order classes online in the Member Area. Your account will be active for 1 year, and in that time you are entitled to receive Reco-abcourse newsletters in your email inbox.

Continuing Education Requirement

STRUCTURAL PEST CONTROL CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Printable Structural Course Form

To renew 1 license: Total of 16 approved hours required. Of these hours, at least 8 must be Rules & Regs, and at least 4 must be technical in your branch. (Most licensees get 8 hours Rules & Regs, and 8 hours technical in their branch.)

To renew 2 or more licenses: Same as above except must have 4 additional technical hours in each additional branch.

Makes no difference if your license in a particular branch is operator or field rep.; the continuing education renewal requirements for are the same for both.

NOTE #1: Beginning June 30, 2010, for operators and field reps, the 8-hour requirement for Rules & Regs remains the same, but the remaining hours must include 2 hours of IPM. No change in the total number of hours required.

NOTE #2: APPLICATORS renewing on or before June 29, 2010 must have 8 hours of pesticide application and 4 hours of Rules & Regs. But effective June 30, 2010, the 8 hours must include 2 hours of lPM. No change in the total number of hours required.

Qualified Applicator License Holders: 20 approved hours every 2 yrs. At least 4 of these must pertain to pesticide laws and regulations. But if in the business of Maintenance Gardening only, only 8 hours, with at least 2 of the 8 pertaining to pesticide laws and regulations.

Qualified Applicator Certificate Holders: All same as above.

Pest Control Adviser: 40 approved hours every 2 yrs. At least 4 of these must pertain to pesticide laws and regulations.

Aircraft Pilots (including apprentice): 20 approved hours every 2 yrs.At least 4 of these must pertain to pesticide laws and regulations. And at least another 4 of the 20 total must pertain to aerial application equipment and techniques.
Note: For all the above, if license or certificate has been in effect less than 20 months at renewal time, less hours are required.
